Title: aMule installation problem with wx

I am trying to install aMule on a redhat 9.0 i386 linux machine from rpm. I am a newbie in linux but I am pretty sure that I followed the steps indicated in aMule installation faq.  However while installing aMule rpm complains : "libwx_gtk-2.4.so(WXGTK_2.4) is needed by aMule-2.0.0rc1-1", which is already there.


Here is are my steps and my problem:


[root@trcemlinux cemo]# rpm -Uvh wxGTK-2.4.2-1.i386.rpm wxGTK-devel-2.4.2-1.i386.rpm

   2:wxGTK-devel            ########################################### [100%]
[root@trcemlinux cemo]# /sbin/ldconfig
[root@trcemlinux cemo]# /sbin/ldconfig -v|grep wx
        libwx_gtk-2.4.so.0 -> libwx_gtk-2.4.so.0.1.1
        libwwwxml.so.0 -> libwwwxml.so.0.1.0
[root@trcemlinux cemo]#
[root@trcemlinux cemo]# rpm -Uvh wxBase-2.4.2
wxBase-2.4.2-1.i586.rpm  wxBase-2.4.2.tar.gz
[root@trcemlinux cemo]# rpm -Uvh wxBase-2.4.2
wxBase-2.4.2-1.i586.rpm  wxBase-2.4.2.tar.gz
[root@trcemlinux cemo]# rpm -Uvh wxBase-2.4.2-1.i586.rpm

[root@trcemlinux cemo]# /sbin/ldconfig
[root@trcemlinux cemo]# /sbin/ldconfig -v|grep wx
        libwx_base-2.4.so.0.1.1 -> libwx_base-2.4.so.0.1.1
        libwx_gtk-2.4.so.0 -> libwx_gtk-2.4.so.0.1.1
        libwwwxml.so.0 -> libwwwxml.so.0.1.0
[root@trcemlinux cemo]# ln -sf /usr/bin/wxgtk-2.4-config /usr/bin/wx-config
[root@trcemlinux cemo]# ln -sf /usr/bin/wxbase-2.4-config /usr/bin/wxbase-config
[root@trcemlinux cemo]# ln -sf /usr/bin/wxgtk-2.4-config /usr/b
[root@trcemlinux cemo]# /sbin/ldconfig
[root@trcemlinux cemo]# /sbin/ldconfig |grep wx
[root@trcemlinux cemo]# /sbin/ldconfig -v |grep wx
        libwx_base-2.4.so.0.1.1 -> libwx_base-2.4.so.0.1.1
        libwx_gtk-2.4.so.0 -> libwx_gtk-2.4.so.0.1.1
        libwwwxml.so.0 -> libwwwxml.so.0.1.0
[root@trcemlinux cemo]# rpm -Uvh aMule-2.0.0rc1
aMule-2.0.0rc1-1.i386-RH9.rpm  aMule-2.0.0rc1.tar.gz
[root@trcemlinux cemo]# rpm -Uvh aMule-2.0.0rc1-1.i386-RH9.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        libwx_gtk-2.4.so(WXGTK_2.4) is needed by aMule-2.0.0rc1-1
[root@trcemlinux cemo]# ll /usr/lib/libwx_
libwx_base-2.4.so        libwx_base-2.4.so.0.1.1  libwx_gtk-2.4.so.0
libwx_base-2.4.so.0      libwx_gtk-2.4.so         libwx_gtk-2.4.so.0.1.1

[root@trcemlinux cemo]# ln -sf /usr/bin/wxgtk-2.4-config /usr/b ?

Bad copy paste action. It just created some link as /usr/b anyway. the problem still persists. :(
