Displaying country flags next to usernames is a nice and cool feature. I think that it merits greater configurability.
For example, I would love to see options to:
- Enable or disable flag display
- Choose the granularity of the flags (e.g., flag of european union/member states/regions within states)
- Choice of controversial flags (e.g., in the case of territorial disputes, occupied territories, etc)
- Choose a meaning for the flags different than the country (e.g., educational, government, military, adsl, dialup, whatever)
-
Let's not bring politics here, shell we?
-
At least the very first point is a valid one - one should be able to change country flags in preferences, not only during compilation.
-
Yes, somewhere from "gui tweaks".
-
Funny, I had never noticed that the flags thing can't be disabled since I like it so much :P
Regards.

id like some options like that, ive always wanted aMule's to look like this, so all the nicks are in line; (forget the 2 letter codes)

is this in the pipeline? ......some simple configurable options in the 'interface' tab maybe....
-
Definitely (enable/disable flags), but the pipeline has become quite long. The required GUI files have been locked for quite some time. :(
-
But won't be anymore by next monday, so add to the pipeline if you want.

:o Hell is freezing? Kry has a brand new heart? "Soon" is getting deterministic? ;D
Cheers

I'll storm to my computer and check SVN on Monday (just like the last four or five times...). ;)

Great news! :)
