Here goes, my first post, probably not my last... :D
I'm running a Debian Woody (3.0r2) box here. Normally Woody includes an older version of wxWindows, but the thermoman backport worked. My only problem is that at every startup of aMule (1.2.6), I get an error message telling me
Cannot set locale to ".
Apart from that aMule seems to work like a charm. Any info on this would be appreciated, T.I.A.

you set your locale on Preferences? to wich one?
And btw, what is your /etc/environment contents?
-
I tried Dutch, English and system default, none seem to work. :(
I don't have an /etc/environment 8o
-
after u set the language u must restart amule..
greets & welcome :)
-
Well, I did that of course, but that doesn't change anything, the message keeps on popping up...
I do remember seeing something about the locale not being set while installing this backport.
-
don't worry about the msg.. fixed for rc2 ;)
-
I think I'll PM the guy that released the backport, see if he knows anything.
Can you give an estimate on when the next stable version will be released?
-
'stable'?
hum...
I think a fairly usable rc will be out before day 12 :)
-
Hehe, ok.
I'll try to get my dad used to this popping up everytime for now.
Thanks for your very swift replies!

By the way this is what error I got from the console:
Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library
-
