Hi everybody
lately aMule, which I use very day, is crashing randomly but often, giving me no error messages.
I tried to update to V. 2.2.2, but nothing changed. :-\
I run it on Ubuntu Hardy 64 bit.
Is it a know bug? How can I solve it? ???

Was that last log entry at the time it crashed ?
Activate "Preferencatios/filteros/Messagios/filtero all messagios" (or whatever it's called in Italian ;) ). There might be a rogue client crashing aMule with an invalid packet. That would explain why it suddenly started crashing randomly if it worked before and you changed nothing else.

That' what I think... it crashes, and without any warning, this should not be this way.
I solved (so far, it didn't crash anymore), but it's sure just a workaround.
I would like to report this as a bug to developers, but how?? I can send the backtrace, but I don't know much more to help them (even if, I guess they'd immediately understand where is the problem).

This "bug" has been around for way too long, and always only in ubuntu it seems, for some reason.
Please foolow http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Backtraces to create useful backtraces, then once that's done disable the filtering, and run aMule with gdb. Once it crashes, post the backtrace as per the instruction in that page.
