I recently tried to run aMule under KDE instead of Gnome.
With gnome it runs fine, with KDE it crashes immediatly.
Here's the GDB output :
(gdb) run
Starting program: /usr/local/bin/amule
Initialising aMule
split read, found : 349
Program received signal SIG32, Real-time event 32.
0x405f2714 in pthread_getconcurrency () from /lib/i686/libpthread.so.0
(gdb) Quit
So if anyone has a clue regarding this problem, I'll be grateful!

It's OK.
Just had to change correctly systray integration preferences before switching to KDE.
