Title: Sharing files on Apple Time Capsule HD

Hi All,

I am using an Apple Time Capsule(http://www.apple.com/timecapsule/ (http://www.apple.com/timecapsule/)) as network router and have all my files in its internal hard drive.

This HD naturally mounts under /Volumes when the AirPort network is set up, but I can't share anything under this directory on aMule simply because the directory listing tree in  Preferences >> Directories >> Shared won't expand under /Volumes.

Any ideas on how to get around this?

I posted on this somewhere else, but then found that my solution doesn't work - I thought you should be able to symlink to the directory you wanted to share from inside3 the internal tree, but when I tried it the symlinked directory wouldn't expand.

I'm not really sure I'm up to hacking the code to make this go - does anyone know why Mac is behaving badly with the /Volumes directory? I know they changed something about how symbolic links to the /Volumes dir was handled between 10.4 and 10.5 - is anyone having this /Volumes problem on pre-10.5 macs? (rbirmann, are you on 10.5?)

This reminds me about a certain mail I wanted to write...where were the wxmac-mailing lists again?
