Title: set default movie player, extract downloaded files
Post by: calymea on October 30, 2008, 10:49:31 AM
Hi, I'm totally new to amule and I have sort of a double barrel question. First how do I set a default movie/video player in amule? I use Linux Mint and the default player for that is Totem  movie player, which works fine in Mint. (amule keeps asking for a default player when I try to play a file, usually either Mp3 or a video file).
Second question, how do I burn downloaded files to CD or DVD or transfer Mp3's to my portable Mp3 player?  ??? Thanks. Rod.

Assuming you're using aMule 2.2.2, you can set your default video player at Preferences >> General >> Video Player

That's totally unrelated to aMule. To burn your files to CD/DVD you need a CD/DVD burner program, such as K3b. Check your system what does it offer. To transfer your music to your portable mp3 player you'll need a file manager application, every system has one or more of them. For more information refer to their help pages.
