Title: Slackware 12.2
Post by: hruotland on December 29, 2008, 01:30:37 PM
Here it is:

http://maistre.ath.cx:8000/aMule-2.2.3-i486-1_SBo.tgz (http://maistre.ath.cx:8000/aMule-2.2.3-i486-1_SBo.tgz)

I just followed the wiki instructions:

http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/HowTo_Compile_In_Slackware (http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/HowTo_Compile_In_Slackware)

modifying the Slackbuild script for aMule with the parameters for a complete install.

Hey there, glad to meet you again and thanks for preparing the binaries for the new Slackware!

That link is currently down; I also suggest putting it on the P2P network too posting here the ed2link ;-)

I'll also update that wiki page because dependencies for Slack 12.2 have slightly changed. I've prepared a package for Slackware 12.0/12.1
which will be available for download soon.

I'll keep you posted,

Thanks for the note.

The link's up now, not sure why it was down. I've also put it up on P2P and the ed2k link is

ed2k://|file|aMule-2.2.3-i486-1_SBo.tgz|7683535|FFCAC0B795678FFC27BEB5A50CD9429A|/

Thanks!

Oh by the way, I noticed that package is missing the slackware-required file. Nothing serious, probably it is just to report dependencies to the user.

After some tests I've finally realized that there's no need to deliver 2 different packages, if one can install the same version of wxWidgets (>= 2.8.something).

I've updated the wiki unifying the info for all Slackware 12 minor versions (which is good).

I've left a couple suggestions on the talk page at the wiki:
