All gnome apps can open itself with 1 click or 2 clicks...
-
ok, but there in't some rules or standards?
like this: http://library.gnome.org/devel/hig-book/stable/

aMule is not a gnome application. It is, actually, window-manager agnostic.

Well, aMule also runs in KDE, LXDE, XFCE, Mac OS X, Windows....
-
right, but you agree with me that is a bit unconfortable have some application activable with one click and other with two clicks?
-
No, I really don't. OTOH I find gnome to be one of the most uncomfortable things ever.
-
Maybe I am wrong, but I don't think this is an issue with aMule. You should be able to configure how your desktop manager starts applications, I think aMule has no knowledge of whether it has been started with one or two clicks.

It's not about start phoenix, it's about the tray icon.

Standards for Gnome, ok.... but for all other desktops?

Um...the relevant section (http://library.gnome.org/devel/hig-book/stable/desktop-notification-area.html.en#notification-icon-interaction) in the GNOME HIG says we're doing everything correctly. There's nothing about single-click, only double-click. (I know that other applications don't behave this way, but they don't seem to follow the standard while we do...;))
