Post by: one2one on April 11, 2004, 10:36:44 PM
i sucesseful compiled amule rc2 with the same command line as amule rc1
and i found this bugs:
- can´t connect sucesseful with servs (connecting but never connects)
- adding a new serv amule quit
- when closing amule he crashes
- on amule startup gives an emule error
Directory " couldn´t be created (error 2: No such file or directory)
- on preferences the tabs are on bad position (size)
- on clicking two times in connect button the image of connect button desapears
- on making some changes in preferences amule blocks
- on adding two ed2k links to download amule crashes and i have to delete .amule to start again amule

Thaaaanx! ;-)
I guess this is a follow-up from http://www.amule-project.net/amule/thread.php?threadid=1633&sid=
That's been quick! ;-) great report. It'll be inmediatly added to the rc2 known bugs list.

Thanx a lot (once again).
Lots of greetings and please keep reporting bugs on aMule under MacOS X! :-)

Similar bugs:
If I have a ~/.aMule-Dir, amule rc2 doesn't start, it just hangs with a windows without content and my harddisk is working plus the system gets slow uargh...
when I rm -r ~/.aMule, amule starts up just fine with these three errors:
- Directory '' couldn't be created (error 2: no such file or directory)
- Directory '' couldn't be created (error 2: no such file or directory)
- Failed to retreive file times for '/Benutzerhandbücher und In#31379' (error 2: no such file or directory)
By the way: Saving these errors via the save-button from the error-window is not possible, in the filedialog is only a cancle button available :-)
When i quit amule, i get this error:
- Impossible to get permissions for file /Users/xy/.aMule/server.met (error 2: no such file or directory)
Then:
- downloading server.met (via enter in the url-field or the button to the left of the url-field) doesn't work, even though the given link http://www.srv1000.com/azz/server.met is valid (checked via wget).

hope this helps a little going on with the mac port.
thanx anyway!
