Title: aMule 2.0.0RC2 -> patch for Upload to 0.42x clients and crash on startup if fat32!!

aMule 2.0.0-rc2 is having problems uploading to emule > 0.42. Please upgrade it ASAP to avoid being banned by eMule clients.

here is the patch that fix the crash on startup if using temp or incoming on a fat32 partition and the upload bug to kad 0.42x

copy it to your aMule-2.0.0rc2/src folder and do: patch -p0 < src.diff
then recompile amule (make) ..

I guess that patch is not included in the rc2 rpm files yet?

rpms with the fix for suse 9.0 & 8.2 are on berlios now -> http://www.amule.org/amule/download.php

fix rpms for rh9 and fc1 too ..
mdk -> see thepolish above ;)

rpm -Uvh aMule-2.0.0rc2-2 ... etc

EDIT: mdk rpm up too ;)

Why hasn't anyone changed the .tar.bz2 file yet???! People will keep downloading a buggy version if you don't change it...

hmmm, djtm right. There could be a week still util rc3 is out (or more, or less). Download hould be updated.

latest emule 0.42 upload and fat patch included

one user had segfaults starting this version, please report by PM or at #amule when you have problems

when you get this:
"Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library"

try to start with `LANG=C amule`

Hi all, i'm noob here, i'have download aMule-2.0.0rc2.tar.gz,

should i apply patch before make ?

i saw : all files updated now.

when i try to patch =>
prompt say :  patch -p0 < src.diff
patching file amule.cpp
Reversed (or previously applied) patch detected!  Assume -R? [n]

must enter y for yes and patch ?

file is already patched, don't patch it again
