Title: ubuntu804 32bit on laptop

Sometimes I had this using amule
in this case after more than an hour of usage

Your version is very old,
try the new stable 2.2.5 (http://www.amule.org/amule/index.php?topic=16647.0).

Yes this is the old gtk onbuttonRelease bug. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=477454

A workaround exists in amule 2.2.2
