When i add links ed2k (asian links) from browser (opera) amule here is what in logs "Error: Failed to convert file "/home/igor/.aMule/ED2KLinks" to Unicode." OS Debian asian fonts installed. What could be the problem?
-
It might be the encoding. aMule expects UTF-8, if I'm not mistaken.
Could you check the encoding your system uses?

Could you please try adding a link with your browser while aMule(d) is not running? Then check the contents of the ED2KLinks file. I assume Opera doesn't pass the link to the external handler as UTF-8 (because all bug reports of this issue use Opera as browser).
Could you confirm or confute this?

How check the ED2KLinks file?
If add a link while amule not running in opera no error normal adding.
Sorry for my english.

Just open "/home/igor/.aMule/ED2KLinks".
And you English is fine (like all people's who say "Sorry for my english."). :)

This is the file not exist . If create and run amule file delete. If create file and not runing amule and click in opera on ed2k link opera add his in ED2Klink but not in utf8.
I install emule and wxwidgets from debian testing tree.

opera add his in ED2Klink but not in utf8.
That's exactly we needed to know, and that's why aMule cannot import the link.
