The title tells everything.
I won't steal your precious time making you read useless text, so here are the details:
- Source code: HTTP (http://www.amule.org/files/files.php?cat=42), eD2k, or Magnet
- Windows: HTTP (http://www.amule.org/files/files.php?cat=43), eD2k, or Magnet
- MacOSX: work-in-progress, but you may want to try a build by mirko.g (http://forum.amule.org/index.php?topic=17284.0)
- binaries for other systems: list of user-contributed packages (http://forum.amule.org/index.php?topic=17268.0) (don't be impatient, they sacrifice their free time for you)
- Changelog (http://wiki.amule.org/index.php/Changelog_2.2.6)
For paranoid people: checksums of the source code tarball:
- MD5: 530d9b48187e36f78fc21bb19e94326d
- SHA-1: 369bb950897c3f1f59fc1190ac7034113ac253d0

I DEMAND MACOSX AND WINDOWS BINARIES RIGHT NOW.

I DEMAND MACOSX AND WINDOWS BINARIES RIGHT NOW.
You were the first to ask for them so you'll create them. But be fast! I'll need them in the morning when I wake up!

Every time a Mac user demands "his" binaries in this board, God kills a mule.
Thanks for this release. :)
-
Thank you indeed!
Did the following fix make it into this release?:
- Searching for repetitive keywords (http://forum.amule.org/index.php?topic=17027.30)
-
Did you bother reading the changelog?
-

No, mainly because it wasn't even committed to trunk. >(

Moved fidoboy's installation problem here (http://forum.amule.org/index.php?topic=17357.0).

WOW :D :D
That is fantastic folks!
A big thank you to everyone who worked hard to make that happen!
Amule appears in the "Ubuntu Software Center" menu and installs with a single click.
It doesn't get much better than this.
-
And what is so exciting about that? every popular distribution has amule in it's repositories.
what is really weird is uniquity: there are plenty of torrent clients, and only one ed2k. what you guys have done with all the others client dev teams?
-

Eliminated them. <godfather-voice>It's nothing of your concern. You'd better stop now.</godfather-voice> 8)

We put them in a blender and fed the result to our mule.

Is good to see that GNU/Linux binaries came out first and the rest comes on a second place instead the usual way around, that's nice for a change :P
Great Work by the way, a BIG thanks to the coders
