Did I miss something here? I really can't believe it's gone, the best server by far. Any recommendations in case it's true it's gone?

???

Switch to Kad.
Kad does not have as many sources as eDonkey server no2 used to have, neither files. :'(

Kad does not have as many sources
That's what source exchange is for. :)

Awesome, thanks! I wish I knew how to apply that, though. :-\

It's done automatically. Having a HighID helps.

Btw. I don't think that eDonkey Server No2 is gone anywhere.
I just connected to it yesterday, the day before and before... No problem here. ::)
Edit: working clickable ed2k link

Loading what server file? The one I have now does not have it in it. :(

If you scroll over the link in my previous post you can notice the server information of eDonkey No.2 appearing in the browser status bar.
Add the server manually (name, ip, port) in aMule and connect to it. ;)

Awesome! Thanks!! :D
I connected ok. But, does anybody know why it's not in the regular server files now? ???
-
I think this is mainly, because most people don't use servers anymore. They only connect to KAD and that's about it.

By using the peerates serverlist (ONLY) I have not problems of search pollution.
They simply works fine.
Servers appears and disappear often, my humble suggestion is:
"don't worry about server's names too much"
