Title: Is there a bug deleting all file transfers??
Post by: taquinas on October 10, 2009, 05:42:38 AM
Hi,
I am using Ubuntu Hardy Heron. Is there way that when Amule is running with user A, user B restarts the computer and all the transfer files disappears (about 50)  when user A logs back in?

I have a hard time believing this could be a bug.

Would the transfer files disappear when logging out before closing amule?

Thanks for your help.
Tony

What filesystem are you using?

Ext3

Can this only be done manually?

I'd say the only explanation is a file system mishap. Did you run a fsck on it?

Check the Temp folder. If it has files in it, but the .met files are 0 size, it was a filesystem problem, caused by not shutting down correctly. If the Temp folder is empty, someone is lying to you.
