Title: aMule 2.0.0rc1 compile surprises

I just successfully compiled aMule 2.0.0rc1 on a Mandrake 9.1 system..
configure was OK but 'make' kept halting at random places. From what experience I have this is usually hardware related so I used -
#./configure --build=i686 && make
That was what worked for me.

There is a line in all that code that says 'I know you are here Creteil follow the white rabbit'
 :D
