Same way you install any other package from your distro. Synaptic, yum, whatever.

This is a problem because ubuntu karmic repository not have libcrypto++7.

I downloaded by ubuntu hardy repository. Now, it is ok.

Karmic comes with libcrypto++8, and aMule 2.2.6. So what are you trying to do?

Yes, Karmic comes with libcrypto++8. But, when install aMule 2.2.6 (via apt0-get), when start, following error:

amule: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto++.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I corrected downloading and installing Ubuntu Hardy deb package libcrypto + +7 in http://packages.ubuntu.com/en/hardy/i386/libcrypto++7/download

Install it with Synaptic. Just checked, it runs fine on Karmic without libcrypto ++7.
