Title: Crash on Mac (too many open files)
Post by: baccos on November 30, 2009, 09:16:52 PM: Hello having serious problems with version 2.2.6 of aMule, which follows. Can tell me how I can solve them. Thanks . :)

That's not that much and shouldn't cause problems, except if you are running something else that eats file handles. Have you tried rebooting your machine?
Anybody knows how to set file limit on Mac?

Try "ulimit -a" to view all limits and use "sudo ulimit -n 1024" to raise the open file limit to 1024.

It's not about OS X, but it might give some light on the solution.
