Title: NO CONNECTIONS TO SERVER pLEASE hELP!!!!!

Hi everyone,

I had been using amule for few months to download files, but I have made a few changes to the preferences which I can't remember,

NOW I CAN;T CONNECT TO ANY SERVERS AND I CAN'T DOWNLOAD ANYTHING FROM IT!!!!!

Problem 1:  amule server log says "Lost connection to server" every second I connect to a server
Problem 2: Can't download files anymore
Problem 3: eD2k and Kad network cant connect
Problem 4: Upload arrow is green while download arrow is red

I'm not a great computer user, so I don;t know how to solve this, I just want to return to the default settings now.

GUYS PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!

No problem, delete ~/.aMule/amule.conf, and defaults will be reset. Just enter Your name again and you're done.

If the arrow pointing up is green and the arrow pointing down is red, it means that you're connected to the eD2k network with a high id but not connected to Kad. It has nothing to do with upload or download, as you can read on the wiki (http://wiki.amule.org/index.php/Usage_Statusbar#Networks).

hi, thanks for your help, but I'm using Mac, so where can I find the file? Thanks!

On Mac OS X the "~/.aMule" folder corresponds to "~/Library/Application Support/aMule"

yes I found the application support file but I can't see the amule file? Thanks

Have you tried reinstalling the application? it worked for me.. i dont know, some port thing somewhere needed to be realigned or reconnected so the re installation fixed it. Oh i had to disable my firewall too. I dont have the url, but try looking in google or yahoo.. sorry
