Title: amd64.deb compilation --disable-debug --enable-optimize have the same performan

The amd64.deb package and the manual configuration --disable-debug --enable-optimize have the some performances in my  system (ubuntu 64 bit and core duo 2 64)?

There are optimization differences between the amd64.deb packages and the manual configuration/compilation?

That depends on the packager. Afaic Festor compiled them like you did, so no difference should be expectable. And if you have a fast CPU, maybe the time for a task is the same, but with opti you have smaller memory usage. If it's fast, just be happy.
