Title: "sharing" (i.e., becoming a source) downloaded files after they are completed
Post by: jazzmaniac on March 04, 2010, 05:13:48 PM
I am a newbie.  I wish to "share" (become a source?) the content I have downloaded AFTER it is completed. HOW DO I ACCOMPLISH THIS? When I attempt to "source" my completed files, I get an ERROR message that I am attempting to share my TEMP file(s). Can anyone explain/help with this matter? THANKS.

The "Incoming" folder is implicitly shared (and thus everything contained within). If you don't move the file away after it's completed, there's nothing to do.

Thanks for responding. So, if I understand your reply, I simply leave the completed downloaded file in the aMule Temp file (where the app puts files on a Mac), and others will be able to share/source them thereafter. And I don't have to do anything else? I don't mean to be a "doubting Thomas",  but I am not sure that is enough. Anyone else have some thoughts on the matter?

Hi jazzmaniac,

aMule will automatically share files while they are downloading and after they are finished. You don't have to do anything else.
