In regard to the status of a source(s) you are waiting to download from, what do the following designations mean:
1. "On queue/Source seeds"
2. "Asked for/Passive";
3. "No needed/Passive"
Hoping someone can be of some help.

I dont know about 2.
but about 1. and 3.:
1. The source is currently seeding (uploading) to other clients than you.
You will have to wait till its your turn (on queue).
3. The source has part(s) of the file that you want,
but not any parts that you don't already have.

Thanks for the info RRM! Anyone else care to weigh in on the matter?

Why did you shorten the states?
2. is "Asked for another file" (A4AF). If you download several of the files the source is sharing, you can only ask it for one of them.

Thanks for the reply Stu. However, I don't know what you mean when you ask "why did you shorten the states?" You are right that I am trying to download more than one file from the same source. Under the heading "status" it says "Asked for" (nothing else) and under the heading "time remaining" it says "Passive". Does this mean the file I am attempting to download is not queued, and that I could be waiting a long time?

"Passive" "Server" "Source seeds" etc are totally separate, and just means where you got the source from (saved sources on your program files, from other sources, from a server, from Kad, etc. Passive means the source found you instead.

Under the heading "status" it says "Asked for" (nothing else)
You know, you can drag the column wider to see the rest of the text. :)

Thanks again Stu! Right you are. I'll wipe the egg off my face now.
