Hi there
I've just installed amuled and amuleweb on my home server (Ubuntu Server Edition 9.10) yesterday, but when I access it from my laptop (Ubuntu Desktop Edition 9.10) via Firefox and go to downloads.php page, it won't refresh and it just keep saying "Transferring data from ubuntuserver.local..." and I have to refresh the page manually every time.
What is causing this annoying problem?
I know that the connection to the server i perfect and it is only in amuleweb that I have this problem...
Regards from Kenny

NoScript ?

NoScript ?
I'm sorry, but I don't understand the question?

NoScript (http://noscript.net) is a Firefox extension which disables JavaScript for unknown pages. Stu thinks the problem could be related to disabled JavaScript.
-
Now i get it... but no, there are no such extension installed...
But this is very strange because now it's working and the only thing I've done is to access the Firefox Error Console and cleared the long list of errors :o

That cussed fox.

The problem wasn't solved at all, and it only worked for about 1-2 minutes before it went back... the page reloaded, but the up/download speed froze after 1-2 minutes and only changed when I manually updated the page :-\
But now I have disabled UseGzip compression and there hasn't been any problems for about 5 minutes, and the page reloads every 10 seconds and updates the up/down speed, so now I hope the problem is solved :)

The problem is far from solved at all :-\

Why not try the remotegui instead of the web server? It works much better anyway (even if the webserver does work),
You could also try a different browser (Opera, Konqueror) to see if that makes a change.

I actually dropped aMule on my webserver during last re-install, but last week i gave it a new try, and after reading you're suggestion I installed the remotegui, and it works much better than aMuleWeb... thanks alot for the tip ;D
