Title: WARNING: TV Underground No2: Please try to use a random port instead of 4662
Post by: jazzmaniac on April 26, 2010, 04:10:58 PM
I recently connected w/ TV Underground No2 and received a warning that I should use a port other than 4662 as a lot of ISPs have filters on port 4662. It took me quite awhile to properly forward my ports and I am loathe to readjust them. My ports are currently properly configured; I have HighID, am connected to Kad and pass the aMule port test. What does the warning mean? I thought TV Underground was a reliable/safe server. Please advise. Thanks.

Providers of sources that want to upload to you might block that port so you will get less or slower downloads. Using non standard ports is always a good idea.
