I'd like to send ed2k link from firefox , from varous forums, directly to amule gui and and amule /remote/ gui.
Is it possible?
If not, i'll post a feature request in the apposite section
-
Possible (http://wiki.amule.org/index.php/Ed2k_links_handling)
-
Yes it works
registry file
+ firefox about:config mod
+ batch file for amulecmd
it's working right, thanx !

Please note, however, that your original request (in the topic header) is impossible. You can't send a link from a browser to the remote gui, only to some core (amule monolithic or daemon), which might as well be remote. The remote gui will then fetch the newly added URL from the core.

yes, i understand.
really, my request how to remotely add to a remote amuled (amule core) a link to download.
and this method is working
when i write 'add to a remote gui' it's just a 'way to say',
-
And how did you do?
I want to connect My firefox (actually connected with local amule, throught ed2k.exe) to my remote amule. I can manually add files using "Amule remote GUI" but i don't know how to automate it with firefox!
Does anyone tell me how i should do?

It is also the firemule firefox extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/firemule/
For it to work, setup firefox as explained on the wiki and install firemule.
