Title: Failed to download the version check file

When I opened aMule, the above warning appeared in the aMule Log. What does it mean and what --if anything-- should I do about it? Thanks!

You have activated "check for new version on startup". So amule tried to download http://amule.sourceforge.net/lastversion , and this failed for some reason. I just tried it, it works for me.
It was probably a temporary internet glitch, or your computer is not set up for http download. In any way no reason to worry.
If you watch this forum you don't need the check anyway.  :)
