Title: Crash if last search tab is deleted
Post by: wolverine864 on June 09, 2010, 04:45:25 PM
While many tabs are open, if one closes the last  tab on the right in the search panel, then aMule crashes.
Instead, if we clear all, then no crashes.

A pointer error  in the tab list ?

Does it happen when you press the mouse button or when you release the mouse button?

It happens when I right click the right most tab and select close tab. On releasing the mouse button.

I cannot reproduce it on aMule SVN.

I guess the next step is to try svn aMule on your part and report back.

It should be fixed in rev.9947, which was too late to get into 2.2.6. Thus current development tarballs (http://amule.sourceforge.net/tarballs/) should not contain the bug. Though it would be great if you could check it.

Ok, I got it built under OSX 10.6 and effectively there is no more crash while deleting the last tab.

There is still the problem of asian fonts.

Files with asian fonts in their name do not get displayed in the search windows and neither in the downloading panel.
The filenames get displayed properly though in the property window when selecting Show File details.

I did build aMule with i18n.

here is a summary of my config

Next time please start a new thread for a totally unrelated issue.

Asian fonts in the download tab definitely work in Linux and Windows. No idea about Mac.
