Title: [R10217] Strange upload speed problem
Post by: Schuttwegraeumer on June 14, 2010, 02:24:03 PM
I use amule SVN direct or amuled/amuleGUI.
And direct as amule the upload is as set.
As amuled/amuleGUI the upload is much lower.
And yes its reproduceable.

I set the upload to 150, with amule the upload is really ca. 150 and amule can hold this rate constantly. (checked with system monitor)
With amuled the upload is between 20 and 80, not more, mostly at the lower rate, some peaks to 90.

System is Ubuntu 10.04 64bit.

If it happens again watch CPU load of amuled. And try to close amulegui and see if that affects the upload speed.

It looks like the CPU load of the amuled process is higher in the low upload periode and lower in the high upload periode.
I am looking for a tool the graph the CPU load of a single programm.

Should be related to this issue (http://forum.amule.org/index.php?topic=17956.0). Is it an old system (slow cpu) ?

And try to close amulegui and see if that affects the upload speed.

It is an Sempron 3000+ (1800 MHz) and I use Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit.
