Title: How to reduce the number of upload slots?
Post by: gagar on August 12, 2010, 10:06:46 PM
Hi guys,

I'm using aMule 2.2.6 on Ubuntu 9.10 amd64 from their repos mainly to seed stuff  on the eDonkey network . Let me say that it works pretty well, never crashed so far, thanks a lot for such a great application.

I set the upload bandwidth limit to 49kB/s and my problem is that I simultaneously upload to too many clients, some of which end up downloading at throughputs as low as 0.1 kB/s.  (Btw, shouldn't the default settings take care of this?) I looked at the settings but I couldn't fight how to reduce the number of upload slots, so it would be very kind if someone could tell me how to stop making folks going crazy with such low throughputs. The attached screenshot should provide additional information.

Thanks in advance.

PS: all the files shown in the screenshot are legal, free to share.

Just go to Options -> Connection ; Set the upload speed per slot there!
