I run amule on a computer that I regularly ssh into from a laptop. can I, through a terminal command over ssh, pass amule an ed2k link to add to it's download queue?
-
Yeah there's aMuleCMD (http://wiki.amule.org/index.php/FAQ_amulecmd) for that.

First of all, thank you woutermense and izobbz for the replies. I'll have to read up on the aMuleCMD, but that looks like what I was after.

Seriously? I took the time to register with the forum (using that freaking captcha crap that everyone hates); used the activation link that was sent to my email (after changing registered email addresses and re-requesting the activation email since it was not getting through to my primary email address for some reason); filled out the User Profile Information fields in the User Control Panel; posted a relevant, intelligent question in the correct forum - but yeah... I'm a spam-bot.

We have had some that took intelligent questions from other posts and posted them. 1st post with link in the signature usually gives them away. You're sounding genuine though. :)

That's the look I was going for! ;)

amuleCMD works great... one question, though. Is there a way to cancel ALL downloads at once. I just had to show and cancel about 15 downloads individually by hash and that was a pain! Thanks again....
-
In that case I'd shut down amuled and rm temp/* . :)

You could have used "cancel all"
