I just downloaded amule. Searched for a couple of music files to try it out. Haven't run into any problems with installing the program or the process of downloading the mp3 files until the last step...listening to the files downloaded. How do I get iTunes to play the files? I used to have Emule on my PC and playing files were so easy. Just use WinRar and it's ready to go. On the Mac though (which I'm new to as well), not sure how to get them to play. Do I unzip? Is there an extra step (like WinRar on a pc) which has to happen before I can enjoy the fruits of my labor of finding and locating what I want and then to not get satisfaction from hearing them? Please help...

You should use an other program for playing the files.
You can use songbird, by example, that can play your itunes-library and all other music-stuff you wish.
When files are packed, you can use winrar or 7zip to unpack them into a directory, there they can be played with songbird or winamp or windows media player ...
