I updated ipfilter with the zip one from eMule official forum, and now it does not start anymore, here's the crash error:
The program 'amule' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadGC (invalid GC parameter)'.
(Details: serial 5024 error_code 13 request_code 60 minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Which aMule version?
And I won't search for the problematic filter in some forum because you can't be bothered to post a link.

wohoh, I would post a link if it could make any difference, I simply add the ipfilter.zip from official eMule site. It's the same from emulepawcio website: http://emulepawcio.sourceforge.net/ipfilter.zip (http://emulepawcio.sourceforge.net/ipfilter.zip).
The aMule version was the latest compiled from svn source.
Now I got this new error, that imho could be related in some way, it happens since when I updated ipfilter.zip:
$ amule
