In the meantime, try compiling it yourself until someone releases a Madnrake 10 rpm...

I hope this rpm will come soon :-)

but be sure u don't use wxgtk 2.5.x or wxgtk linked against gtk2 .. mdk likes to do it

Is wxBase-2.4.2.tar.gz  compatible with kernel 2.6?

the kernel has nothing to do with wxbase or wxwidgets.. so no worry ;)
