Hai aMule Developers,
i mainly use Mac OS X 10.6
Usually, i open aMule window to add new files or to check any file has finished download.
After those, i often click the red button to close as i close all other program in Mac.
But it means quit aMule, not just only close the window.
Notwithstanding there is "prompt on exit".
I can realize my wrong operation only when the prompt message box comes out.
And in Mac, aMule can't "enable tray icon" or "minimize to tray icon"
what i am thinking is that if it is possible that:
when i click the close button, the system is just close the window instead of quit program.
or just like Twitter for Mac, when i click close button or click any position out of the program is hide the program
Wish you understand what i am talking about
BTW, i think this is not big problem of aMule itself
is there any way to make this comes true
and i don't need to wait new release

Problem is, this behavior may be standard on Mac, but it's detested on the other platforms.
So if we implemented it, it would have to be configurable.
Oh, and if there is no tray icon on Mac - how would you close aMule at all?
(Sorry, as you can see I have no clue about Macs.)

I'll take care of that for the next version, no problem. I'll add a mac-only *option* so that the close button will just hide the window, and it will be shown when the dock is clicked, as per Mac standards.
Tray icon options won't show on Mac anymore.

Should that mean 2.3.1 or then one after that?

It's already on 2.3.1
