Title: aMule SVN 10663, amulegui: statusbar out of sync
Post by: De-MonHell on November 10, 2011, 03:36:01 PM
bin: amulegui
aMule: SVN 10663 compiled from source
wxGTK: latest 2.8.X (installed from repos)
OS: ubuntu 10.04 LTS
symptoms: UI: the statusbar doesn't update it's download/upload speed (they remains zero for the whole time) and the connected users either.
Instead, "connected server" and "last info" fields they're  correctly updated

It's only me or it is a bug? if so i'll open an issue on the bugs.amule.org

Works for me.
Did you use amule or amuled?
Same SVN version as amulegui?
"Status bar" - you mean the status line at the bottom of the window, right?

yes

sorry, i totally forgot to say it:
remote server
bin: amuled
versionaMuleD SVN compiled with  v2.8.12 (OS: Linux) compiled from http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/amule/aMule/2.3.1rc1/aMule-2.3.1rc1.tar.bz2
HW/SW: arm (it's a NAS) / linux
note: i've not compiled this for myself. It comes from an ipkg

Same SVN version as amulegui?
no (as i stated above): server is from RC1, client is from latest  SVN 10663 (subsequent RC2)

Interestingly enough,  on another PC of mine i just tried an amulegui compiled from RC1 and it works (ubuntu 11.04).

There were some slight changes in the protocol between the RCs. That's probably the reason.

Sure. Matching versions are supposed to work. Different versions are not supported. :)
