Title: Ubuntu Natty
Post by: Vollstrecker on December 12, 2011, 10:46:35 PM
Hey, lately I got it done, Natty has 2.3.1 and wx 2.8.12

deb http://www.vollstreckernet.de/ubuntu/ natty amule-stable wx

Or to compile yourself:

deb-src http://www.vollstreckernet.de/debian/ natty amule-stable wx

For now only i386. amd64 is planed, I just got to fix qemubuilder for that.
Btw, you can use 11.04 instead of natty, too.

Answer is: Try it. If it doesn't work, why don't you just upgrade, Lucid is very old.

I tried on Ubuntu 10.4 Lucid Lynx but I can't install it.

Why Lucid? Because Lucid is old but LTS, and my CPU is old, low RAM and slow processor, I think Lucid is the maximum for it. Now perhaps I will try other distribution more modern and more light, Lubuntu or Mint or....

Thanks

As the 64-bit packages are uploaded, you should get the packages when you update your system.

What did you do so far, and what is unclear?

Maybe read https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Repositories/Ubuntu#Adding_Other_Repositories.

k, you've put that in, and then? Which packagemanager do you use, which commands did you run, what errors did you get?
