Title: memory leak

I think there's still a memory leak or 2 somewhere in the amuled code (10792)

After about 2 weeks of running it'd grown to something like 2.9Gb.

Restarting dropped it down to 650Mb.

Here right now after 6 days it's at 150 MiB.
Have to say I've shared just 2 files now...
