Title: web server not working remotely

Hi guys
i´d read the mini how to about how to get running the web server. It is running and works fine into the machine wich is running amule, but i cant make it responses from another machine in my local network. I put in my broswer the same ip:port and nothing happens. It says that it cant find the page.  ;(
The firewall is down so it cant be blocking the tread... so what could be  ?(
(if it gives you some tip im using mandrake 9.2)

hi there

which version are you using? rc3?
if yes go to the patch area and download teh webserver patch and recompile amule :))

Im using amule 1.2.6     I dont kown if there is some lack of the code or i am doing something wrong.

uff

webserver in 1.2.6 was really buggy so you probabyl not miss anything if you checked the how to...
its just that it does not quite work well,
webservers which were working are 1.2.5 or current cvs
but I recomend you if you take one cvs snapshot take one which is 6-7days old, current CVS is a bit unstable ;)

thank you very much i think ill wait for an stable version 2.X of amule. Im newie so compiling and things like than i may get lost.
