Title: Is high/low ID displayed anywhere?
Post by: absinthe on June 17, 2004, 03:20:31 PM
Howdy,

An old-timer with eMule here, who just migrated to Linux.  It doesn't seem like aMule displays my "HighID/LowID" status anywhere.  Am I missing it?  eMule would show it in the server log and also as a sidebar under "servers."  My downloads don't seem to be moving along very well and I thought that might be the reason.

I of course have port forwarding configured in my router.  On the other hand, if this Fedora Core 2 installation has a firewall running that I don't know about, that could be a problem.

Please advise.  Thanks   8)

Hi ... and thanks!   :)

Yes, I always read the log as I'm connecting to a server.  But in eMule it explicitly says "HighID."  Am I to understand that if I connect at all it's with a High ID?

Downloads are cruising right along now, so I assume I do in fact have a High ID   8)

if the value is over 16 million -> HighID
Anyway, if the arrows in the world pic in the lower right cornet are:
red -> Disconnected
yellow -> LowID
Green -> HighID
So that's an easier way to know than looking at the log
Greetings!
