Post by: tokabowla on July 01, 2004, 07:37:31 PM
Got aMule installed and running fine, but when I minimize it, the window dissapears.  It doesn't go to the taskbar or anywhere I can see.  HELP!

You have to specify what Desktop (KDE2/3 or Gnome) you are using in your preferences

delete ~/.eMule and run aMul again.
If you search through the forums, yo will find the _exact_ line which yo have to modify in .eMule so you don't have to delet it and loose all your settings.
Greetings!

i have the same problem.
but i think it is in the preferences. you selected "minimize to taskbar" or somwething sounds like that. so unselect this at your next start of aMule. i have to do this too ;)
