Hallo ebody,
last week I switched from w2k+emule to suse9.1+amule. I tried version 2, but found it to crashy, so I dgraded.
Now I am getting on very well with amule and already finished several download started with the old emule.
My first question would be: I have my dowload speed set to 32k, but sometimes amule get over this, or at least says it does. At the present time, the ballon says 50,5. Is it correct? Does the bwith limitation works? Or is it the indicator which is not good?
Thank for this very useful piece of software for the free GNU/Linux world.

It has sometimes happened to me that, under certain situations, aMule reports using more bandwidth than it really is susing. Those situations are always when CPU is up to 100% due to some other application's resources needs. Check, through an external net masurer, that aMule is really taking so much bandwidth.
Greetings!
