hello
amule shuts down as soon as i connect to a server
can someone help me on this?

Also, (but please get a backtrace before) this could maybe help you:
Move ~/.aMule and ~/.eMule to some other names, start aMule. If it start ok, then try taking the files back to its original name.

I bet you're using wx 2.5.2
