I'm using a Mandrake 10.0 and I've installed aMule 2.0.0rc5 and I configured it after read the FAQ on this page, but my queue is empty. I have HighID and my download list is full of sources (300 per file more or less).
I was using eMule on Windows and I copied this files to my .aMule/ directory:
- clients.met
- emfriends.met
- Known.met
- Preferences.dat
The files I'm sharing are in a FAT32 partition, and the Temp and Incoming files are in a FAT32 too.
Any idea? Thx

I also have problems in amule-2.0.0rc5.
i upgrade amule rc4a to rc5 and in first two time run amulerc5 all good, but today when i open the rc5 it not open,
after tests, I remove clients.met and rc5 run normally. And now I lose all credits????

I read more FAQ and I solved the problem, it was the firewall. Port UDP configured in preferences was closed.
Clients.met is the file where other people have credits on your machine, your credits are in Preferences.dat (Another post in this forum explains it well)

iTT:
HellComes is right, credits.met is the file where other ppl's credits are stored. But your credits aren't stored in your machine, but on other's machine (I wonder where did HellComes read they are stored in Preferences.dat... :P).
Please read http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/FAQ_eD2k/Kademlia and http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/FAQ_aMule in order to know more about credits and such stuff.
Greetings!

I explained myself in the wrong way. When I said that your credits are in Preferences.dat I want to said that in Preferences.dat is the userhash, which identify each user on ed2k network, so with this userhash other machines should recognize you and keep your credits, isn't it?
By the way, Should I need to copy any other file as well as the four I said before to keep my eMule credits?
Thx
