why amule eat all free resourse? how i can reduce its hunger of ram?

are you using wx 2.4.2 with gtk2 ?

sure, i'm running aMule on slackware and i've compiled all packets how the how to tell

must i put off  -add files to download with autopriority-?

try to set all files to normal priority (don't use any auto-prio and look if its better)

in a few seconds from 789Mb free at 6,7Mb free ;(

Try running the command "free" before and after you have started aMule. Paste the output here.

The largest part of the memory usage you is the kernel caching as much as it can, creating the effect that all memory has been used. Notice that the free value on the "-/+ buffers/cache" row changes from "849988" to "703428". That's still quite a lot though, around 150mb. =/

sometime with xchat,
after two hours amule is working i cant open vlc  ,error of bad allocation,
