i've tried every version of amule so far.
recently i switched from 2.0.0-rc3 to 1.2.7 due to rc3 stability issues, and now from 1.2.7 to 2.0.0-rc5, just to try the latest stuff.
i've got a 640/256 ADSL connection, and with previous versions of amule my download average rate was 40-50kbps, with upload limit at 15-18kbps.
with the latest rc5, i've almost no more downloads.
aye, i have high-id, udp port opened, and my isp doesn't limit p2p ports...
anyway the previous versions were f**kin download machines :D
what's happening now?
i've noticed that in the source list, i've a lot of "unknown - too many connections" instead of "QR - in queue".
anybody can help me?
i've tried to deleting my ~/.eMule and ~/.aMule/* but no luck.

Problem is you loose all your credits when swtiching form aMule 1.x to 2.x or the other way round. So, you lost all your credits when going to 1.2.7 (unless you saved your ~/.aMule directory, but I doubt you did).
So you have to gain all credits back :-(
And, well, removing ~/.aMule was even a worse idea ;-) you lost all credits AGAIN when doing that :-P
Be patient for two weeks or so untill you gain credits again ;-)
Greetings!

nope, i've got 2 .aMule dirs, one for amule stable and one for RCs...
when i wrote "i deleted" i meant "i backupped and deleted" :P
so i guess it's not a credit problem...

hmmmmm :-/
try changeing ports number to something else. maybe ISP is blocking you...

nope, it's definitely a rc5 only problem, coz i don't have it using stable release or previous unstables.
i think i'll stick with 1.2.8.

quit question:
did you set your downloads to auto-prio? or did you set your download the values like "high" or "normal" ??

auto

if you are willing to try again set them all to
High, or normal
this will do the trick with -->>lot of "unknown - too many connections" instead of "QR - in queue"
