Title: aMule makes more uploads than downloads(eMule not)
Post by: Guest on October 13, 2003, 09:34:07 PM
Hi , I'm using aMule 1.0.7 (soon I'll upgrade to 1.0.8 ) and I notice that the download is not very quick , Upload rate many times is superior than Download rate . On Windows with EMule (the last time I've tried it) there wasn't this problem.
This is caused by a particular motivation or what?

lMule/xMule have this problem too.

How to solve it?

Thanks

Marcello

Just be patience :). I noticed no differences between eMule, lMule, xMule or aMule.

Remember, this is peer 2 peer...

Total Uploads for all people is equal to total downloads. If you constantly download more than you upload, you're leeching your ratio. This is a usual behavior to first upload more than download. You have to wait some times to have a higher queue value (and begin to have some good credits from other clients).

By the way, I don"t think there is really important difference between eMule/lMule/xMule/aMule.

Ok, Thanks :)

I've initially thinked of a "racism" of the eMule clients when the found an aMule/xMule client :D

Hi All

Maybe after switching from xMule to aMule, then aMule is slower. Because it has
a new userhash and so you have not a good rating along other clients. Maybe after
some week aMule gets faster then, when you get better ratings...?
