Post by: shelbyxj on August 14, 2004, 09:03:24 PM
Has anyone successfuly installed amule on Xandros? I am new to linux and attempted to install amule on xandros without success. I have some basic ???? What folder do I extract wxGTK to? wxBase? Crypto ++? and amule?
should everything be done in the root folder?  After my first try, I got an error in konsole saying "coomand not found".  Can anyone help?

Have you tried precompiled packages ? Xandros is debian based but supports rpm's as well. Compiling yourself is nice, but must be used only when package based installation fails.
Why did you choose exotic OS on a first place :) ?
