Hi people,
I have notice in the amule log (in servers tab) that the same user keeps asking to see my shared list several times every day for the last months 8o, so its worring me:
User dodo (897915216) requested your sharedfiles-list -> Denied
Ok, his request gets denied but its not very nice to see a couple of this entries every single day ;(. Im getting really annoied and would like to block the motherfucker, but i have no idea on how to find out his ip address. Anyone know how to do this? Please give me a hand here.
Thanks !!

The high ID 897915216 is equal to IP 80.25.133.53 (if my computation is
right). The formula is documented at http://www.emule-project.net/ -

This suposing that he has a static ip which isnt likely.
.
So you ban that ip, he gets another (are you gonna ban that one too?), someone else may be banned instead.
If you refuse the request, just ignore it

Thats great pil0t, thanks very much for your help.
To compare your IP and a High ID the conversion is as follows: for IP = A.B.C.D the High ID = A + 256*B + 256*256*C + 256*256*256*D.
Now lets see if i can block him someway ...

As Seagull already wrote, it might be intresting to check if your
peer has a static 897915216 ID. Otherwise you will block the
wrong machine.
If it's only a few annoying log lines per day, ignoring them might
be the better solution.
