Title: file did not get copied into Incoming because of a permission problem
Post by: shai200 on September 15, 2004, 11:05:23 PM
Hi,

I configured a different directory to be my incoming but forgot to chmod it.
In result, a bunch of downloaded files could not be copied there, and they are still located in the tmp directory.

How do I restore these files - the ones that did not get copied into Incoming back when it didn't have the right permissions?

you have to move them manually, so, take your time to discover which is which ;-) There's nothing aMule can do about that now, too late.
Greetings!

P.S.: You can know which part files are currenly being downloaded by right clicking the files in the download queue on aMule. So, those which are not being downloaded will be the ones which should have been moved into Incoming.
